Lenovo Vibe K5 and Vibe K5 Plus are Lenovo’s Newest Phones

Similar to other smartphone companies and manufacturers, Lenovo unveiled their new phones Vibe K5 and Vibe K4 Plus during the World Mobile Congress held in Barcelona Spain on February 2016.

After the success the Chinese Company, Lenovo, has made with its smartphones; they announced their new phones Vibe K5 and Vibe K5 Plus in February 2016 and will be available in the markets in March 2016.

The differences between the two phones are small just like the prices. Even though the price is not yet determined, the difference is expected to be low. Lenovo phones are considered new and affordable considering the processors in the market.

Lenovo are still on the path to gain more users as they are becoming popular amongst them. There are few comments about the touchscreen which the company is trying to improve.

Lenovo Vibe K5

Lenovo Vibe K5 is made from aluminum, supports GSM, HSPA, and LTE mobile networks, and supports dual sim cards. It is powered by Android 5.1 (Lollipop) and will be available in two colors: Silver and Gold.

Its dimensions are 142x71x8 mm and weighs 142 grams.

It has a 5.0 inch IPS touchscreens with a resolution of 720x1280 pixels.

Technically, Lenovo Vibe K5 has an octa-core Qualcomm MSM8929 Snapdragon 415 processor, made from two quad-core Cortex-A53 processors, one operating on a speed of 1.5 GHz and the other on 1.2 GHz.

It has a 16 GB internal storage, 2 GB RAM and the ability to add up to 32 GB as an extra SD Card.

The rear camera has a resolution of 13 MP and the front camera has a resolution of 5 MP. It also has a removable 2750 mAh battery.

Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus

The only difference between the two phones is the screen; where Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus will have a screen resolution of 1080x1920 pixels, and will be available in silver and gold colors.

People may wonder why Lenovo released two phones with the same specifications. The answer is simple, Lenovo wants to meet the needs of different users who have a limited budget and want a better screen resolution.

Many smartphone companies are following this step; manufacturing different versions of the same phone to suit the needs of different people.

Summary

Even though the prices are not yet determined, expectations indicate that they will range between 130 USD (487 SAR’s) and 150 USD (561 SAR’s), before taxes.

According to Tech Experts, Lenovo Vibe K5 and Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus will have good performance being powered on Android; also they have a unique design and style with a removable battery making them more appealing between experts and critics.
